The same actions hold true for the Star Annual Fund, the new cornerstone of St. Clare Catholic School’s fundraising efforts that allows us to bridge the gap between tuition and actual operating costs. Your investment will help add resources and provide new opportunities for our exceptional Christ-centered program. Your action has the power to impact the educational experience of all St. Clare students as well as the remarkable work of all St. Clare teachers. The Arch-Diocese of Galveston-Houston hosts a Family Fun 5K Run/ Walk through the streets of down town Houston. Steps for Students is not only the largest community event hosted by Catholics in the city of Houston, it is also the BEST event for our students to see how the community supports them and their schools. St. Clare of Assisi Catholic School participates in the Box Tops for Education program. Our school recieves 10 cents for each box top that is turned in. This money is spent directly on students at St. Clare. We receive the money for the box tops that students turn in, and we use this money to purchase art supplies, books, games and center activities, snacks, printer ink, and numerous other items that we need throughout the year.
