Ms. Chovanec spent 15 years in the corporate world in administration and left to be home with her children.  After 10 years, when her children were 9 and 3, she returned to the workforce. Both of her children attended Catholic School and when the Library Manager retired she decided to apply for the job and has never looked back. This was her “dream job” as she loves books, reading, and children. Her background in administration worked tremendously in her favor as the largest part of managing a library is administrative. She believes that the children are the “icing on the cake”. After 20 years in a Catholic School library, she retired in 2015.
