Philosophy of Education
As Saint Therese said and my Grandmother never let me forget, “The world's thy ship not thy home.” Yes, It is important to teach little ones the skills to be successful in this earthly life but above all my goal is to prepare them for eternity. Children are magnificent and naturally filled with wonder. We have so much to learn from them. I would like to allow time and grace to assist the children in being naturally drawn to their interests and show them the presence of God in all things. I believe their natural awe and wonder will lead them to truth, beauty and joy which is God. I think so many skills are to be gained and so much love and wonder is to be fostered from reading good literature to and with our little ones.
Message to Parents
I admire you for sacrificing to provide your child(ren) with a Catholic education. I’m privileged to be entrusted with the important task of assisting you in guiding your child to discover God’s plan for his/her life. Each child is a unique gift from God and learns in their own way. It is my calling to serve God by teaching them so that they can be successful in discovering their vocation and God’s plan for their precious life. I am so excited to get to know your little ones. It’s a great joy to be part of the Saint Clare’s family. Above all I want you and your children to know I am here to help them, protect them and look out for their best interests during the school day.
Extracurricular Activities
On the weekends I love walking my dog, Rory. I am excited to explore the beautiful state of Texas and plan on taking lots of trips to see all the different sights. I will most definitely have to ask my students for suggestions.
