Dear St. Clare Families,

As we continue to deal with the COVID -19 (Coronavirus) outbreak, St. Clare of Assisi Catholic School is committed to taking every precaution to keep our students and our community safe and healthy. Therefore, because of three teacher positive cases and one student positive case we will switch to virtual learning from Tuesday, December 8, 2020, to Friday, December 18, 2020, to support our community in the ongoing effort of containing the coronavirus. All grade levels will be virtual over the next two weeks up until Christmas break. We will return to in-person learning on Monday, January 4, 2021. Teachers will be in contact with their grade level students on Monday and Tuesday for more instructions.

This decision was made thoughtfully with input from the Catholic Schools Office and local health authorities. By making this decision now, we will help slow the spread of COVID-19 within our school and Parish community. I realize there will be many questions regarding the temporary switch to virtual learning. However, I will continue to provide updates, as necessary, via email.

This remains an ever-evolving situation. We will continue to monitor developments and send timely communication with any new recommendations. Please join us in prayer for all impacted by COVID-19, and our decision, as we know, will cause difficulty for some families.
